First I must apologise for taking so long to get the update about the St Patrick's Day #pawpawty updated. We had a little incident at the office where one of the team tried to pick up something heavy and hurt herself and then an unexpected little trip to London. All of which meant that I could not get my paws on the puter thing. Anyhow all back to normal now so on with the
#pawpawty update
What a 24hour event it turned out to be, it all started at 19:00GMT and 15:00EST on the 17th March and we were in a pawty mood right from the start.
We had lots of anipal treats to eat, salmon and tuna for the cats and liver and steak for the dogs, we even had some extra special grass for the @goatsincoats.
And that's not all for drinks we enjoyed green beer, whine , guinness, catmopolitans , and pina catladas, and of course we had to have a few shots of pussmills whiskey.
We started with music from @petboutique and this carried on for quite a few hours with such special tunes as "everybody wants to be a cat" and "how much is that doggie in the window" keeping is all on the dance floor for most of the evening.
As we switched time zones we were joined by lots of anipals from around the globe, and as usual the crazy cats and dogs kept the pawty going until 06:00GMT, by which time we all had to have a little nap.
The pawty was back in full swing by 10:00GMT and we carried on right through until 19:00GMT on the 18th March.
This was a massive effort by all involved, and while we were all having fun we were also helping to raise money for @romeothecat 's charity Animals in Distress, the good news is that because of our efforts before, during and after the event Romeo has already hit his target of a massive $1000. Well done and a huge high paws to all who so kindly donated.
The final results of all of the competitions are now all in and indeed most of the anipals have already received their prizes.
Competition Results
The ever popular Rawhide Wars was sponsored by @dogstories and the winners of the two rounds were @fergusthedog and @brunothedog you can read all about bruno here on the dogstories blog , soon you will be able to read an update about fergus as well.
@mifurryfriends sponsored a lovely doggie shampoo which was won by @perrythebirman, who tells me his doggie friend Samson is smelling a lot nicer since this arrived.
@tiny_the_dog COO of flexpet also sponsored the event and the following anipals won a free sample of joint pain supplements to keep them bouncing along.

All of the anipals loved dressing up for St Pawwdy's day and we had 5 of the famous find the pic competitions run by @emmythecat, who created a number of St Paws picture walls for us all to enjoy. The pets who one a prize sponsored by @frugaldougal 's team were.
As all of you guys live in the US FrugalDougal asked Paul at @bakersdog to arrange for some doggie treats to be sent out. A big thanks to the frugaldougal team for sponsoring these prizes and also to @bakersdog for arranging for all of the presents to be posted at his own expense.
@bakersdog also sponsored an individual prize of some lovely kitty treats and this was won by @perrythebirman, he sure is one clever cat
@diggeratgadzoo sponsored two prizes, a fantastic pack containing a t-shirt, a flash drive, pet bowls and scoop went to @houseofpuddles and @mozartdane won a feature post on diggers blog you can read more about him here

@flicka47 helped us drum up some more funds by sponsoring a prize of some great Kitty Caviar and Venison Dog Jerky which was won by @qcdogblog

The prize for the best dressed kitty went to @missgypsykitty, this prize was sponsored by @frugaldougal 's team and was provided by the guys @bakersdog
